New Hotfix Released v11.6 build 130828n

The following issues have been addressed in a Cumulative HotFix for FootPrints Asset Core 11.6:

TIA06666 – LDAP Synchronization can cause duplicated records in some environments. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06664 – Hotfix installation on Linux does not correctly stop the installation if the wrong version is being applied. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06661 – Asset Discovery hangs when pulling SNMP information from some devices. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06657 – Service packs will not install if the patch group is not set to force installation. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06659 – Remote Control with user acknowledgment does not work if Terminal Server service is not running on the target device. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06665 – Packages can be published by users with insufficient rights. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06379 – Asset Discovery scans do not retrieve the expected inventory data from AIX systems. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06660 – The record count shown at the bottom of the console window is incorrect when previewing free query results. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06701 – Some combinations of unique identifier criteria cause agents to re-generate their unique identifiers repeatedly. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06702 – Request to increase the maximum allowed value for the patch reboot timers. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06703 – Administrator accounts that use System authentication may become locked out after one failed login attempt. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06704 – Virtual machines with an active VPN connection may be detected as physical devices. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06705 – The values for the ‘Others’ count within the homepage charts are incorrect. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06706 – Identity data from some Linux systems can be generated incorrectly. This was addressed in the 130711s update.

TIA06757 – The User Acknowledgement settings in a Security Profile do not work as expected in Asset Core 11.6. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06758 – After disconnecting from a Remote Control session, the user’s wallpaper is not restored. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06759 – Connectivity inventory data may not be collected properly from switches that have VLANs configured. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06760 – Rollouts that have been configured to run repeatedly do not retry targets that have previously failed. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06761 – When creating an MSI package using the Package Creation Wizard, the finish button in the wizard may not work. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06762 – The master agent may crash when creating device groups in some cases. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06763 – Style Based reports which have been configured to generate a CSV file, and have a Report File Name filled in may generate a corrupted CSV file. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06764 – Patch Groups may remain in a status of Build and Publish Pending, and Service Packs may be removed from the Patches tab. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06765 – Users may be prompted for credentials unnecessarily when running an action from MyApps. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06766 – A Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error may appear on Windows systems that have the Asset Core 11.6 agent installed. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06767 – The Copy Files operational rule step may fail to copy files from a network location. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06768 – Patch groups may remain in a status of “Evaluating”. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06769 – The Centralized Wake On LAN operational rule step may not select the correct target device. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06693 – The Java Web Start console will not connect when a custom certificate is used. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06663 – Patch Group stays in ‘Build and Publish Pending’ forever. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06690 – Attempting to reboot a device may cause the device to shut down if a patch reboot is pending. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06662 – Multiple versions of the same patch are not properly managed.. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06691 – Remote Control may not be able to connect to devices whose IP address has changed. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06694 – If a Patch Job has been edited multiple times, devices assigned to the Patch Job may attempt the installation of the patches in the job repeatedly. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06526 – Inventory data files may not be removed from the \Master\Data\Vision64Database\filestorefiles\ directory in some cases. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06699 – OS Deployment fails with syntax errors in Asset Core 11.6. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06692 – The Identity module on MacOS devices does not read domain information for the currently logged-in user. This was addressed in the 130828n update.

TIA06678 – Patch Synchronization may not start the deployment of patches. This was addressed in the 130828n update.
